2019 TLN EOY East Coast Tournament

Excitement is building for the 11th Annual End of the Year (EOY)
East Coast Tournament*

4 Ways to Qualify:

(1) Players who have won their respective season playoffs in Fall 2018 or any championship in 2019. But also need to have played at least 10 matches.

(2) Any player that has played 40+ league matches in 2019.

(3) Any player that has played 200+ matches in their Tennis League Network career.

(4) Players who attended any of the past tournaments but they need to play 15+ matches in the past year.

When And Where:

  • FRIDAY Dec 6th TO SUNDAY Dec. 8th, 2019 at Crandon Park Tennis Center, Key Biscayne Fl.

Long Weekend Program:

  • Friday 8AM start time to 10PM: Matches start. (You play 2 - 2 out of 3 - Four game pro sets (NextGen format with Ads and 7 point tie-breakers)
  • Friday no later than 4PM: The latest a player can start their Friday matches.
  • We have lighted courts so matches will go into the evening.
  • Saturday Morning: Seeding matches will continue (You play 2 more - 2 out of 3 - Four game pro sets (NextGen format with Ads and 7 point tie-breakers)
  • Saturday Noon: Tournament sponsored Lunch
  • Saturday Dinner: We go out to Monty's in Coconut Grove not provided by the Tournament.
  • Championship Sunday (Not everyone qualifies): Quarterfinals, Semi-finals and Finals
  • In 2018, we ran 3 finals on Center Court.
  • Also we took pics with Andy Murray at the facility.

A couple of the Championship matches could be played on Center Court!

Skill Levels:

Men's: Elite+ 5.0, Men's Elite 4.5, Advanced 4.0, Advanced 3.75, Competitive 3.5, Competitive 3.25 / Skilled 3.0 and Women's Advanced 4.0, Competitive 3.5

2019 Women attendees can bring a female player to participate and they pay the champion's price. The friend needs to have played 10 matches in a TLN Franchise in the past 12 months.

We have a free entry spot for Tournament helper. Your job will be to directly involved with the operation of the Tournament but you'll also be able to play in the tournament. Main tasks will be player communication and making sure players are making out to their court assignments.

Tournament Format:

The Friday and Saturday results will be used to determine the qualifiers for the Championship Draw and Consolation Draws. We will guarantee a 1.5 hour break between the Saturday matches. The number of players who qualify for Championship Sunday depends on the number of player's in the Division. Not all players qualify. There's no consolation draw for non-qualifiers.

*Winners will be crowned 2019 National Champions.

Cost:

$69 for Champions & $89 for Non-Champions.

Prizes:

Final amounts is $100 gift card to the Winners and $50 gift card to the Playoff runner-ups. Prizes can be influenced by any sponsors that come on board.

Travel Arrangements:

Travel arrangements will be covered by the players, not by Tennis League Network, LLC.

Deadline:

Tournament Sign-up deadline is Monday, Nov. 25th.

Ultimate Goal:

The tennis should be quite exciting, the players should be amp'd up for the tournament.

Hotel for Out-of-Towners: Hilton Garden Inn Brickell

We have finalized the agreement with Hilton Garden Inn - Brickell, formerly Hotel Urbano. The room block is for $199/night + taxes. Current going rate for that weekend is $310 plus because it's Art Basel weekend. The Hotel is conveniently located right across the bridge from Key Biscayne.
